THE SPECIAL EVENT: Freightzy x the Guelph Nighthawks

On June 25, we were thrilled to attend the Canadian Elite Basketball League matchup between the Guelph Nighthawks and the Edmonton Stingers. We’re big Nighthawks fans and supporters at Freightzy, so this was a dream event for us. We were also excited to sell copies of our children’s book, Heroes Behind the Wheel, at the game; all proceeds from the sale of this title go to the Canadian Children’s Literacy Foundation. We were proud to have CCLF’s Senior Fundraising Manager Shannon Charnock-Davis on hand and learn about her organization's upcoming initiatives to support children's literacy across Canada.

Our founder and president, Sean Freedman, strongly believes businesses should serve a higher purpose. Sponsoring the Nighthawks and supporting children’s literacy are just two ways that Freightzy shows what it stands for—community, inclusion, equal opportunity, and so much more.
